I tried to git the linux kernel fro git.ti using below instructions, but failed with below error reported. Could u pls instruct what maybe the cause, thanks.
git clone git://git.ti.com/keystone-linux/linux.git
fatal: protocol error: bad line length character: HTTP

I can git using the git bash tool in windows. I have checked the proxy set-up on my linux as below, but it still reports the same error.
Proxy set-up:
1 add following in the $HOME/.bashrc file to setup proxy
export http_proxy="http://webproxy.ext.ti.com:80"
export ftp_proxy="http://webproxy.ext.ti.com:80"
export https_proxy="http://webproxy.ext.ti.com:80"
export no_proxy="ti.com"
export GIT_PROXY_COMMAND=$HOME/git-proxy.sh
2 source .bashrc file
source $HOME/.bashrc
3 add following in $HOME/.git-proxy.sh
4 then execute the git clone git://git.ti.com/keystone-linux/u-boot.git but failed.
I also tried to git another file using below git clone instruction and it can work well.
git clone http://gtgit02.gt.design.ti.com/cgit.cgi/projects/mcsdk-security-images.git
Could u pls instruct whay maybe the cause, thank u so much.
