MCSDK 3.0 Image Processing Slave side demo build problem

Dear Experts,

I installed MCSDK 3_01_04_07 version and exploring Image Processing demo under "mcsdk_bios_3_01_04_07/demos/image_processing/ipc" directory.

I imported "image_processing_evmtci6638k2k_slave" CCS project and tried to build it.

Here, I am getting the following build error:

/home/heman/ti/xdctools_3_31_02_38_core6x/xs.xv7A: 1: /home/heman/ti/xdctools_3_31_02_38_core6x/xs.xv7A: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")

How to resolve this build error? If anybody came across this type of issue, please provide me how to rectify this error.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

The link what you suggested is related to ARM side. But in my case, I am compiling completely Slave side (DSP) source by the guidance provided in "How to import the slave code of Image processing demo and how do I build it" in "IPC FAQ for Keystone Devices" document.

Here, I am using CCS v5.4 for build. But MCSDK 3.1 suggests CCS v6.1

Dear Experts,

Finally, I am able to compile this IPC Image Processing demo Slave side application without any issues and got "image_processing_evmtci6638k2k_slave.out" .
This is because of xdctool package. By default, the Slave side application configured to invoke "xdctools_3_31_02_38_core6x" version which is cross compiled for ARM supplied along with MCSDK 3.1. This is suitable if we compile Slave side demo app directly on ARM Cortex-A15 platform.
Now, after changing "xdctools_3_31_02_38_core6x" to "xdctools_3_31_02_38_core", everything went fine.
