We found that is support Supports both embedded sync and discrete sync.
But we don't sow format of RGB and YCbCR.

Please let me know which format support for 16bit /24bit RGB /YCbCr .

Vip supports external Sync mode for 16bit/24bit YCbCr/RGB.

ADV7612 is only support 16bit/ 24bit in 422 YCBCR and 444 RGB module.

What is output interface from ADV? Is it digital parallel output interface?

VIP supports both YUV/YCbCr in 16bit interface and RGB in 24 bit interface..

hi,

It has DE/VS output and 36bit pin output, you could use VIP to capture it.
VIP requires just Vs/De pins and either 24bit RGB or 16bit YUV input.

ADV7612 only provide YCbCr /RGB data format and it cant provide YUV format video data. so how to connect with YCbCr format to DM8168 processor?

Hi Alpesh,

They both are same, as long as, it can output YUV/YCbCr output on digital parallel interface, VIP will be able to capture it..
