How to set the C5515 System Clock in CCSV4 Bios Project

I am used to a CCSV3.1 Bios project where I set CLKMD register statically via the global settings in the DSP/BIOS graphical configuration tool.

I am now using CCSV4 and have noticed that this setting (or C5515 equivalent) is missing from the CCSV4 DSP/BIOS .tcf configuration file.

How do I set up the PLL registers using CCSV4 BIOS project?

Is there an example of how this is done?

My custom hardware has a 12MHz external clock with the RTC disabled.

I'm not sure why the configuration is not present in the BIOS configuration utility. Perhaps someone else has some insight into that. However, you should use the new CSL released for the VC5504/05 and C5504/05/14/15 DSPs. You can find it here: http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/sprc133.html. You want the version named C55XCSL-LOWPOWER. There are examples with the package and setting the PLL is one of them.
