LCD display on Beaglebone Black

Dear TI

i want use display LCD on Beagle bone black so we got a LCD display with HDMI interface

now micro HDMI will be interfaced with HDMI of the LCD display since this TDA19988BHN chip has i2c interface to the micro hdmi so

1) i am wondering is touch screen feature supported by this TDA19988BHN chip lets say if that feature is present on LCD.

2) it must be just plug and play i need not port any additional drivers am i correct.

1) No, touchscreen is not supported by the HDMI transmitter.

4.3" LCD CAPE for Beaglebone Black Touch claim touch works fine on Beaglebone black although the interface is not HMDI
i don't mind the LCD being non HDMI i just wanted display and touch both to be working
obviously as per schematics of BBB display should work for this LCD.
since the default image is debian on BBB i am wondering if the default drivers reads X, Y coods on touch & takes necessary action
am i correct ?
