Jumbo frames not working C6678 DSP

Hi TI Experts,

I have to enable the DSP C6678 with Jumbo frames, I followed the steps as given in the link (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Enabling_Jumbo_Packet_Support_for_C6678), still no luck.

I enabled the jumbo option in Test PC and issued ping command with packet length of 1700Bytes, no response received from DSP.

May i know whether are there any other settings to be done to ndk or pdk (nimu) packages?

Info : Verified Ethernet counters but no increment of Ethernet counters : RXOVERSIZEDFRAMES, RXJABBERFRAMES, or RXCRCERRORS (attached the screen shot of Ethernet counters)

Hi, one more information, gone through this forum link : e2e.ti.com/.../150134 and configured:

P0_RX_MAXLEN, EMAC1 RX_MAXLEN and EMAC2 RX_MAXLEN registers

but still no luck.

What is your NDK,BIOS,XDC,CGT and MCSDK versions ?

Are you using C6678 Shannon EVM or custom board ?

Hi,

Its custom board.

Version Details:
NDK: ndk_2_21_01_38
BIOS: bios_6_33_06_50
XDC: xdctools_3_23_04_60
CGT: v7.4.8
MCSDK: mcsdk_2_01_02_05

The changes mentioned in the link provided by you are already incorporated in my ndk and nimu packages.

Do you have C6678 EVM board with you ?
Can you try the same on C6678 EVM board ?
I will also try to do and update you.

Hi,

I don't have EVM C6678 board, I have only custom board which is designed considering EVM as reference.

Can you suggest are there any other files which need to specially take care? or adding extra configs as like 'CfgAddEntry( hCfg, CFGTAG_IP, CFGITEM_IP_SOCKTCPTXBUF, CFG_ADDMODE_UNIQUE, sizeof(uint), (UINT8 *)&rc, 0 );' or so?
