I have a question.

Can you tell me what can be passed of AM335x on hardware,
When I get EtherCAT component test of certification from ETG

I wanna know about what is support(benefit) of AM335x on hardware.

and I'm sorry. I have a mistake.

I need to pass Conformance test, when I get EtherCAT slave certification as system.
I wanna know about benefit of hardware on AM335x to pass Conformance test

If it is depended on only software, Please tell me.

Hi Hiroyasu,
we still have issues understanding your question, sorry.

We ran our EtherCAT ESC solution on AM3359 (ICE board) through an official certification process at ETG a few years ago. We passed the test. Since then our software is tested internally using the latest Conformance Test Tool (CTT) from ETG each time. We also apply special tests to check conformance of our ESC implementation with EtherCAT specs. This goes far beyond the standard device certification tests.

So customers should be able to pass certification if they use our software correctly. There is still a chance that they fail due to application code issues of course.

Does this answer your question? What do you mean with 'benefit of hardware'?

Can I get Software you apply from ETG or TI ?
I wanna know how to get Software.

The SYSBIOSSDK-IND-SITARA: SYSBIOS Industrial Software Development Kit (SDK) for AM335x and AM437x v02.01.01.02 on www.ti.com/.../sysbiossdk-ind-sitara contains a EtherCAT slave application with an evaluation version of the Beckhoff stack.
Follow the link to the latest version at downloads.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

This example can be upgraded to a full featured application by joining ETG (at no cost) and downloading the Beckhoff stack as described in the SYSBIOS Industrial SDK User Guide. We should mention the online versions of the SDK documentation are the most up to date version.

There is additional information on EtherCAT for the AM335x and AM437x available on the TI website. Simply search for EtherCAT or Single Chip Drive on the TI website.
