Issues with TI AM3358EVM booting

The TI EVM is not working completely, and I have tried to get to the bottom of it to no avail. Can you link me up with a TI FAE that is familiar with the EVM? I have searched the TI forums and haven't found any posts with similar problems.

It will not boot from any device, and only has a few onboard LEDs that light up.

LCD Board: The LCD flickers briefly upon startup, and the LCD Power LED is active.
Baseboard: The power LED is active.
Daughterboard: D14 and D13 are active.

Hi,

Please provide more details. Do you see anything on the debug console? Are the DIP switches configured properly (see processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_U-Boot_User's_Guide

Note that this is with the SD Boot media installed, it keeps outputting CCCCCCCC..... as shown below with the SD card removed.

Well, this means at least that the board is alive. Now, recently an issue was reported on this forum, with wrong SD card coming with the GP EVM. Can you check this thread and see if you can solve your problem the same way: e2e.ti.com/.../490189
