does DM6446 support DDR2-800(200Mhz)???

Hi,

Is DM6446 has support for DDR2-800(i.e. 200 Mhz, 256MB)??

DM6446 DDR controller can support DDR speed only upto 166 Mhz and that using a higher speed DDR will limit the speed to the maximum supported speed of 166 Mhz.

If the above assumption is correct, please suggest what all changes required in the boot loader to change the DDR2 speed.

Yes DM6446 supports 533MHz speed grade or more, due to inherent JEDEC DDR2 backwards compatibility.

I will let someone familiar with the bootloader help with what changes are needed.

There are several different versions of bootloaders. Please let us know where you got the bootloader and specific version..

The bootloader version is u-boot-1.1.3. Its downloaded from TI website.

Is your system using NOR boot or NAND boot? Also, the u-boot version you mentioned is very old and out of date. I believe version 1.2.0 is used in the latest DVSDK release from TI. You should consider updating.
