Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L137, OMAP-L138
I'm in the process of trying to use the OMAPL137 EVM kit and I'm having difficulty understanding the tool chain for software development under Linux. I'm progressing through the getting started section of the Wiki to install the different components such as Monta Vista Linux, bios, various drivers, etc. I'm confused as to whether there is an IDE included with the L137 EVM kit? In the getting started I noticed a reference to using an IDE by Code Sourcery and it also appears Monta Vista has an Eclipse/GNU based IDE that is included with Linux. What is the difference between the IDE provided by Code Sourcery and Monta Vista? If I purchase Monta Vista Linux do I still need the Code Sourcery IDE?
Thanks
