What is PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-RT-XXX ?

Hi,

There are three questions.

1.Is PROCESSOR-SDK-RT-XXX the thing which added something like patch of the following sites to a normal kernel?

rt.wiki.kernel.org/.../Main_Page

2.Or TI customizes it every device of AM437x and AM57xx, and will SDK be released?

3.Will you customize the thing which is not a kernel (library in filesystem which has been built) for PROCESSOR-SDK-RT-XXX?

Hi,

I will refer to Sitara SDK.

Yes, RT-Linux contain the CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT patch. Since processor sdk02.00.01.07, TI has ported the patched kernel to the sitara family of devices.

The filesystem has been built against the patched (with CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT patch) kernel.
