MCSDK Video install hangs on Linux

Hi,

I was trying to install mscdk video version 02.02.00.46

At first, it prompted me confirming that MCSDK Video will be installed and then asked to insert preferred installation path. It then printed messages about installing MCSDKVIDEO, NWAL, Unpacking CODEGEN but then it is got stuck and then I had to do [Ctrl+c] to exit out of it

Please refer to attached screen cap for better understanding

I am not sure what is causing this issue.

Dear Harshal Patel,
How much did you wait after you have given the location to install the files (/opt/ti) ?
I hope you have to wait some more time to install the files.

Hi Titus,

I waited for 15 minutes after choosing the install path. But as per your suggestion, I tried again and waited around an hour and it was still stuck
Does it take more than that?

One thing I noticed that the mcsdk video folder size was not increasing while it was stuck

Dear Harshal Patel,

I've tried to install the same MCSDK VIDEO binary in Linux ubuntu 14.04 LTS PC.

I don't see any issues, but I've got GUI based installation and also its installing the plenty dependency packages (CODECS).

I think, you are installing the binary in SSH mode, this installation pop up the GUI window for dependency packages though in console mode (CODECs,CGT etc.,) so please don't try to install the MCSDK VIDEO binary in virtual terminal (SSH, telnet etc.,)
