Hi,

I have questions about AM335x and SN75LVDS83B FlatLink Transmitter.

We are planning to connect AM335x LCD I/F and SN75LVDS83B.
Can I connect AM335x LCD I/F and SN75LVDS83B directly without other component?

Thank you for the reply,

I'm looking at the page which you introduced.
In this page's OMAP control signal, there are DE signal.
What signal in AM335x LCD I/F are correspond to DE signal?
Is it lcd_mclk signal of AM335x LCD I/F? Or is it lcd_ac_bias_en signal?

Hi,

Sorry, but let me ask one more question about lcd_mclk.

What is use case of lcd_mclk signal?
It seem that if application have two LCD displays, lcd_ac_bias_en are used as chip select for primary display
and lcd_mclk are used as chip select for secondary display. Is it correct?
In such case two SN75LVDS83B are needed and connect lcd_ac_bias_en to EN pin of first SN75LVDS83B,
connect lcd_mclk to EN pin of second SN75LVDS83B. Is it correct?

LCD_MCLK is not used in raster display mode. Please see Table 13-4 in the AM335X TRM Rev. M for LCD signal functionality.
