AM335X Linux SDK fix timeframe

Customer is working on upgrading from Sitara SDK 8 to Process SDK 2.
This is the result of what they believe to a be a video driver issue.
They are seeing video output shifted to the right by a random number of pixels.
This occurs randomly and resolves itself in minutes to hours worth of time.
They're hoping that by upgrading to the latest SDK they will either eliminate the problem or at least be in a better place to get support on the issue.

They have a question about an issue from the errata list:
Issue “LCPD-5153” listed here, processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_SDK_Linux_Kernel_Release_Notes, tilcdc: race issues cause sync losts, garbage on the display
Possibly originating from here, e2e.ti.com/.../1653040

They want to upgrade to the latest SDK without introducing more issues.
Can TI provide any information on when a fix for this might happen?
