Hi,

i wanted to know if the uart ( omap or 8250 ) support the ability to put the parity of the first octet at value 1 and the other octet sent with the parity at 0 .

And do you know if there is some pics that support the ability to wake up when the octets received has the parity bit at 1 ?

I'm on the processor am3359/am3358 .

I heard that people manage to do it with MARK and SPACE parity . ( termios command )

Yes, AM335X UART hardware supports mark/space parity. Only UART0 has wakeup capability. However wakeup is done on RX activity, not on received byte processing.
