Hello Randy, your comment applies to DSP/BIOS Version 5. (That is TMS320 DSP/BIOS v5.41 User’s Guide, SPRU423h).
How would one accomplish efficient reading (i.e. not busy-loop polling) from the AIC23 Codec using DSP/BIOS Version 6 (... or SYS/BIOS Version 6)?
SIO and GIO seem to be only legacy-supported in DSP/BIOS 6. Can you give a quick sketch for how to configure McBSP/the AIC23 codec using interrupts (Hwi) and/or EDMA?
