Hi,

My customer uses AM5728.

Customer has SGX issue now. when booting SGX, customer has a message "(FAIL) SGXInit: Unable to validate device DDK version"

This issue occurs once every 50 times.

Please answer to my below questions.

1) What situation does this error message happen?

2) What is work around for this issue?

3) How to reset SGX - I can't find the information of the reset bit for SGX in AM5728 TRM.

Dear Biser-san,

I have another question.

Does AM5728 have unique RESET feature that reset only GPU core?

Or is GPU POWERSTASTE ON -> OFF -> ON moving same effect as RESET to GPU?

Please let me know.

GPU reset sources can be seen on page 461 (Table 3-34) in the AM572X TRM Rev. E. In addition there is a software reset option (TRM section 12.3.3).

Thank you for your quick reply.

According to Table3-34,　GPU_RST source are Global cold or global warm. Both are global reset.

I would like to reset only GPU. Is possible?
