[AM572x] Confirm the MMC1 controller

Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following questions.
[Question]
1. Now customer will use the MMC1 as UHS-1 SDR104. So they will change the operation frequency of "L3INT_L3_GICLK" from 266MHz to 133MH. So can customer set and use this frequency(133MHz) for MMC1 controller in case of use as UHS-1 SDR104?

2. Is there any influence/effect on AM572x operation by slowing the L3INT_L3_GICLK(133MHz) clock?

If yes, would you please show us them?

Hi,

This is not the way to change MMC clock. See section 25.5.1.2.1.7.2 of the AM572X TRM Rev. E for correct sequence.

Thank you for your information.
They will change the operation frequency of "L3INT_L3_GICLK" from 266MHz to 133MHz to support the external Flash and FRAM access.
So, they would like to know that there is any influence/effect on AM572x operation by slowing the L3INT_L3_GICLK(133MHz) clock.

What is "L3INT_L3_GICLK"? Can you check this? I don't find any reference to this label in the documentation.

I had typo on this post. It means that "L3INIT_L3_GICLK".

Lowering this clock will have negative impact on multiple peripherals. External Flash and FRAM should be on the GPMC interface. The GPMC functional clock is taken from L3MAIN1_L3_GICLK, not from L3INIT_L3_GICLK. L3MAIN1_L3_GICLK is configured to 133MHz by ROM code.
