The C6457 is configure to Big endian device.

and how to configure HPI bus to big endian on C6457?

Dear Jacky,
You have to set the GPIO[0] A5 pin for endianess while POR (power ON reset).
www.ti.com/.../tms320c6457.pdf

By default its in little endian mode through internal pull up (IPU), you may have to ground the pin for HPI big endian access.

Yes, we've done what you said. but only change to big endian mode in C6457, Still little endian access for HPI .

Dear Jacky,
Able to connect and load big endian based program on C6457 ?
Have you tried both big & little endian programs through CCS & emulator ?
For testing, please create a helloworld program for big & little endian and try to load on target board.

You can change the settings in CCS project.
CCS properties -> General -> Main -> Device endianness
