I have tried to write my own code for uart communication in interrupt mode, but i used the intvec.asm from TI example code.

while building its giving errors as

Multiple markers at this line
- [E0003] Unexpected trailing operand(s)
- [E0001] Undefined symbol
- [E0002] Illegal mnemonic specified

any one can suggest me what i have to do debug errors.

Hi,

Why didn't you refer rCSL sample UART examples available for OMAPL137 as below:

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../QuickStartOMAPL1x_rCSL

Try first the UART hyper terminal and UART interrupt loopback examples which uses interrupt to update the status of transmit and receive buffers.

Have you tried EDMA and interrupt based code?
C:\ti\pspdrivers_01_30_00_06\packages\ti\pspiom\examples\evmOMAPL137\uart

First, kindly check the above example working?

Hi shivaraj,
Thank you for your quick response. I have tried with TI example code which was built without errors. But i wanted to learn how to write own code. In TI example code they have used chip support library, but i am not using csl.
can u please suggest me where i am going wrong.

From what I can see, that is valid C6000 DSP code for the TI CGT assembler. The OMAP-L137 has both ARM and DSP. Are you trying to compile for the ARM or DSP? The ARM assembler has different keywords. There is also two assembers TIs and GCC. Both have different syntax.

Check that your project has specifiied the C6747 processor. I no longer have access to CCS. I can remember which property page it is on.
