FM to PCM with DSP?

Hi. I have an AF signal (20Hz - 20kHz) represented in 10MHz FM. I want to convert the FM-represented AF to PCM digital. Rather than demodulate the FM to AF and then use an ADC to convert to PCM, I want to convert the FM as directly as possible to PCM, skipping the FM to AF step. Can a DSP do this? Any app notes come to mind?

Sorry, I think my last post is pointing to something irrelevant to your question.
I'm not aware of any libraries that would take a modulated FM signal and do PCM conversion. Doing a quick search on google popped up some techniques people have used to do this on a DSP, so you could theoretically do this, but would need to write some libraries.
