TI Team,

I have a customer that is running into latency issues on the EPWM1_INT.

Using TI-RTOS
Using TMS320F28335
Latency issues on the EPWM1_INT
Interrupt is set to 33 kHz
- Noticing variations between 30 and 35 microSec
- the variations added up over seconds causes issues
Customer has tired to eliminate anything that holds up enabling or disabling interrupts

Any ideas on what it is that they might be experiencing?

Hi Christopher,

Do you have a list of the threads (Hwi's, Swi's and Tasks) that are running on the system? Or is this happening when only the Hwi for EPWM1_INT is running? It'd be good to reduce the number of threads and sources of interrupts in the system to a minimum for debugging. They can see the running threads using the RTOS Object Viewer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV0gNNavmUw) in CCS. They may also benefit from checking out the execution graph using UIA: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:UIA

In addition, they may want to make sure no interrupt of a higher priority than theirs (see table 111 of http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sprufb0d/sprufb0d.pdf) is being serviced at the same time as their interrupt of interest.
