Serial Boot and Flash Loading Utility for OMAP-L137

Hi,

We are trying to use the UART boot mode on one of our custom boards using OMAPL137. We are trying to use the flash utilities as per this wiki:

As our oscillator is 20Mhz, we need to recompile all these utilities to work with our board as per :

But I can't seem to install the ARM compiler from Mentor graphic website as given at above URL. I think it needs to have certain type of subscription.

Cannot i use the ARM compiler from CCS ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you need recompile the SFH tool for your custom board changes (UART,reference clock etc.,)\

Yes, you can use the ARM toolchain from any one of CCS IDE.
C:\ti\ccsv6\tools\compiler\gcc-arm-none-eabi-4_8-2014q3\bin
C:\ti\ccsv5\tools\compiler\gcc-arm-none-eabi-4_7-2012q4\bin

If you don't have ARM toolchain in CCS path, you can get it from CCS update option.
