  • Hello there,

This is the C2000 Microcontroller Forum, You might want to try posting to the C5000 Ultra Low Power DSP Forum in the future for any device specific questions. e2e.ti.com/.../

I am going to move your post over there so that they may help you on anything else that may arise.

Regardless, We have McBSP on many of our MCUs, so I can help you out a bit. If you are confused about the different SPI modes, there a plenty of resources available all over the web. I am not sure which documents you have looked at, but here is a link to your device's McBSP user Guide: www.ti.com/.../spru592e.

Clock delay and without clock delay in the McBSP refer to the PHASE of the data being transmitted or received. Refer to Chapter 6 for all of the information on McBSP configured as SPI. Table 6-2 provides a concise summary of various Clock Schemes available. Section 6.4 provides clear diagrams of the same information.

I hope this gets you started. Hopefully the C5000 team can help you more specifically regarding your device.

    Regards,
    Mark
