error while connect to a target (tms320c6748 dsp kit)

Thanks for your post.

I think, you have wrongly chosen the emulator connection in the target configuration file (*.ccxml) and kindly select "Spectrum Digital XDS510USB Emulator" and for board or device, select TMS320C6748. If you are using LCDK or EVM, kindly select the device LCDKC6748 or EVMC6748 appropriately.

As well, after you choose connection and device in the .ccxml file and appropriate gel file can be located at Advanced tab of Target configuration file as from the below get file path:

C:\ti\ccsv5\ccs_base\emulation\boards\evmc6748\gel

Click on "Test Connection" button on the target configuration file in order to ensure the sanity check on the appropriate emulation drivers before connecting it to the target.

Kindly do the above recommendation in order to succeed in connecting to a target device. Kindly check the screenshots attached for your easy reference
