Transferring packets from C6748 DSP to PC

Hi,

I would like to send data packets from the C6748 to the PC and I am able to run and rebuild the winapps example codes provided. But I am having trouble understanding how to access the EDMA on the C6748. Are there any example code which show how this is done? Thank you.

We have some EDMA examples in starterware. (I2C EDMA ,SPI EDMA, UART EDMA examples too)

To understand EDMA, there are C6000 Embedded workshops and video training material below which would help you to get more clarity on this:

Also, there are EDMA examples for event triggered, manual triggered, Ping-Pong, self chain configuration sample available from rCSL package which you could try it for both OMAPL137 & L138:

Hi Titus,

Thank you, unfortunately, starterware's libraries conflicted with some of the existing libraries I was using. I also could not figure out how to rebuild the libraries in the EDMA LLD. I went on to try it with the Chip Support Library and that worked for me.
