AM335X: Change from DDR2 to DDR3

Hi,

We have replaced DDR2 with DDR3 where we are using AM3352BZCZA80 processor in our design.

Plese let me know, what are the changes i need to do in interfecing.

Hi,

I don't understand. Do you mean that you have physically replaced a DDR2 memory on the PCB with DDR3? Or are you doing a new design? The two interfaces are different. You can find details in the AM335X Datasheet Rev. I section 7.7.2.2 (for DDR2) and section 7.7.2.3 (for DDR3).

We are in design phase, where earlier we were designed with DDR2, now we are planning to go with DDR3, so what are the factors i need to take care and what will be the changes?

Read through section 7.7.2.3 of the datasheet. Everything is described there.
