Hello,
I am using Beagle bone black for development.
Is It necessary to have OS installed in BBB for SPI appliation?
How it can be done over Windows, without OS?
please suggest some methods for SPI interfacing between xilinx FPGA and BBB

Hello,
I am selected Beaglebone Black for the Development. Please clarify my few doubts.
Possibly there are two options to connect beaglebone Black with PC: 1. On Windows OS 2. On Linux OS
In windows i am Using CCS IDE for Development on SPI.Please Let me know what could be done on linux(CentOS) platform.
Do I get a SPI code in source code itself?
Do i need cross compiler to compile on Linux?
Thanks for support
Vikas,
Not completely clear on your question. The AM335x Processor SDK RTOS package has McSPI examples in the PDK.
You can use CCS on your Linux machine and work similarly to your Win machine. You compile your example on CCS. Does this answer your question?
