hello dear:
we design a board base on tci6638-k2k-evm。now we have to porting u-boot to our board. our
board's tci6638 IC is connct to switch IC.we use u-boot-keystone(tag:K2_UBOOT_2013-01_13.11) download
from ti.com. this code run well on tci6638-k2k-evm(include network driver),os we porting this code to
our board.
we have the problem when debuging netcp:
1, can not usb ping send data;
2, enable CPSW loopback,can not receive the data had be send;
3, when send data,from RXGOODPRAMGES to RXOCTETS regsters do not increase.
please give we directions. thank you very much.

  • Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com). Please read all the links below my signature.

    We will get back to you on the above query shortly. Thank you for your patience.

    Thank you.

    Note: We strongly recommend you to create new e2e thread for your queries instead of following up on an old/closed e2e thread, new threads gets more attention than old threads and can provide link of old threads or information on the new post for clarity and faster response.

  • Hi,

    I recommend you to go through below wiki for exploring the u-boot drivers and debug your board by comparing the register dumps with EVM.

    Thank you.

  • Hi,
    You can dump the NETCP (status regs) registers and check for the ethernet state.
    Link got up and got the IP address ?
    What are the HW changes have you been made ?
    Ethernet SWITCH and PHY ?
    if different HW used than EVM board, have you modified the u-boto ethernet drivers for your custom changes ?
