I'm trying to get PSP on Linux for CCS. At the following page:

It says there is an installer for all platforms. However, the only installer there is an .exe file. Where is the installer for Linux?

Dear Shahbaz,
Some of the legacy SW doesn't have support for Linux. So please install it in windows machine and do manual copy to your Linux PC under "~/ti" or your preferred location .

Hi Titus,

I actually tried this after I had sent this question. CCS doesn't detect them as packages though. See here:

e2e.ti.com/.../500221

I would also take a look into upgrading our firmware to use the newest SDKs, but I'm not sure if that would be feasible at the moment.

Actually its get detected on my CCSv5.5 setup.
Also you can include the library and include files manually.

Please let me know if you face any issues.

Thanks for confirming that on CCSv5.5 it works at least.

The reason I didn't want to add the files manually was to make the project files cross-platform/cross-version. When installed, the packages add additional variables, in this case `PSPDRIVERS` if I'm not mistaken, which could be used in the project regardless of platform, version of PSP or where it is installed.

I could live with using a fixed version and assuming it's installed in C:\ti and ~/ti. Thanks for your feedback. I would appreciate it if you could take a look at my other question as well, more specifically regarding am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.1.0.6.
