question on AM335x boot config pins (those LCD pins)

Hi,

I have a question on AM335x boot config pins.

If I left those boot config pins of AM335x (LCD[0-15]) un-connected, would it default to some boot mode? Or I have to connect each pin using pull up/down resistor in order for it to boot correctly. Thanks!

Hi,

It is not recommended to leave the sysboot pins unconnected. You should ensure that the pins are at the correct levels when power on reset occurs, so the device can boot properly.

Hi,

I would like to add that "it is not recommended" does not mean that you can leave them unconnected. If you leave the SYSBOOT pins unconnected the device will not boot.
