I'm interested in TMS320DM8168 product, i want to ask about the programmer and the operating system .
what is the programmer that we should use it for TMS320DM8168 ?
TMS320DM8168 support Linux operating system ,should i download the Linux OS on SD card then boot the board from SD (such as Raspberry PI) or download the Linux OS on PC and connect the board to the PC to configure it(using USB or UART).

By "programmer" I assume you mean JTAG emulator. To load CCS code to the DM816x device, you will need JTAG emulator. I am using Blackhawk USB 560M, but you can use others. This info is provided in the below "misunderstanding" links that I already provided:

When using EZSDK, usage of CCS with JTAG emulator is not mandatory, you can program the processor without CCS/JTAG. CCS/JTAG can be used to flash the NAND/NOR/SPI memory (which can be done and outside from CCS/JTAG) and to debug the u-boot/kernel.
