BeagleBone Black USB Serial device only in Device Manager

Any time I connect my BBB device, the only thing that appears in Windows Device Manager is a USB Serial Port.

I installed all drivers but to no avail.

This is what i see on the Details panel.

Beaglebone Black? Are you sure? BBB does not have any USB to serial converters on board. What do you expect to see?

So you didn't answer what do you expect to see on the PC side? What software are you running on the BBB?

Sorry, I expected to see the USB host and RNDIS device.
The OS is the vanilla image.

This forum supports only the TI distributed Linux SDK: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html All other versions are supported by the community on beagleboard.org/.../Forums However you cannot see USB Host on your PC, since your PC is the Host. As for RNDIS Device you should check if this is enabled in your BBB kernel.
