SYSBIOS and the removal of C64x+ support

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOS

DSP = 6421
CCS = V6.1.2

I recently downloaded CCSV6, and I'm in the process of downloading all the components necessary to build our projects (SYSBIOS, NDK, etc).  One of our older products that we still support is based on the C6421.  I downloaded the latest SYSBIOS (V6.45), only to discover that support for C64x+ devices has been removed.  Does this mean that I must use a SYSBIOS version prior to V6.45?  Is so, what happens if/when a SYSBIOS bug is found that could affect C64x+ parts?

Thanks, Dean
