About FFT size

Dear all,

I have a question about maximum FFT size supported by 66AK2L06. It is specified that FFT co-processors in this device supports maximum 8192 points FFT. What does that really mean? Does it mean that this device can not be used for FFTs that are greater than 8192 points?

The hardware FFT coprocessor only supports FFT sizes up to 8192, as laid out in detail in the manual linked above. The DSP (or ARM) cores can perform larger FFTs. You could write glue code to run FFT sizes up to 8192 using the FFTC, and stitch them together in software, but probably no such code is easily available.
