Hi,

There is a mention of Table 1-3 Device Identification Registers in TRM of AM3505.
There are four following questions.
1.
Is the value written in at this register in AM3505AZCNA same as AM3505AZCNAC?
2.
I think that ROM bootloader and u-boot read this value and do not enable crypto, is it right?

3.
The difference between AM3505AZCNAC and AM3505AZCNA thinks only correspondence / non-correspondence in crypto, is it right?
4.
Is it right by understanding to be not different other than it for the hardware?

Hi,

See section 7.1.2 from the AM35X Datasheet Rev. F. The last letter "C" in the device code means that the device is crypto enabled.

Our customer refers to the part of the data sheet which you introduced.
There was a demand to want to identify the details of the difference of two devices to change a device and asked about four.
Will you answer four questions?

①AM3505AZCNAC is "secure device".
②AM3505AZCNAC is "GP device + crypto module".

The last "C" means Crypto is enabled on this device.

Will the following be right?

AM3505AZCNAC is "GP device + crypto enable".

With both AM3505AZCNAC and AM3505AZCNA, the value of Table 1-5 CONTROL_IDCODE Register is like same value (1B86802F).

Is it right that we cannot distinguish it even if the recognition of the C version reads a register of IDCODE?
