Regarding SPIDEV usage in AM5728 GPEVM

Hi All

I have GPEVM for AM5728 processor. As we know that their is no SPI Device on this EVM.

But still i have added pin-muxing for SPI4 and enabled spidev functionality in device tree as well as kernel defconfig. Should /dev/spidevxx node be created??

i am getting /sys/class/spi-master and /sys/class/spidev folders. But no spidev node in /dev.

Hi,

I've tested the SPI4 controller on AM5728 GP EVM and it works fine. Remove the display board & probe pin_38, pin_37, pin_35 & pin_6 on P17 connector.
