Low cost or open source programming and debugging of TI DSP processors

My this post is not specially related to the DSP problem. Actually I didn't found any general place in the DSP section so I posted it here. If anybody know suitable place for my this post and than please transfer it to that section.

Meanwhile the question is that I found that TIs DSP processors are of quite good use in many fields and also they have quite good support for their DSP processors.

But what I think the TI DSP processors are lagging with are low cost debugger for their DSP cores or open source. I browsed the internet but didn't found anything related to this.

If anybody have any idea in this regard , please share here with me.

Hi Piyush Pandey,
We have XDS100v2 emulator which supports almost all the DSP and ARM+DSP (including keystone1 and keystone2) processors and cost is also less.

Yes. As Shankari pointed above, you can use xds100 to debug the open source application. Please refer below link on how to do it. Please provide the DSP part number used.

The XDS JTAG emulator is a hardware which gets connected into the target board and the host PC. CCS will load the program into the target through this emulator and can do debugging of the loaded program via this emulator.

Would you please elaborate your requirement? Do you mean something like open source debugger like "gdb" ?

For TI DSP processors, CCS+XDS emulator is the best setup for development environment.
