Hi, Everyone

I have a qustion.
TLK110 is on AM335x ICE board.but
We are planning to use AM3359 with Ethernet PHY DP83848I.

I wanna make sure we can use same Ethernet PHY driver on TI-RTOS,
if we use DP83848I.

Do you know about it ?

Regretfully we do not have a driver to support the DP83848 for the AM335x in RTOS. Some modification to the current driver and applications may be required to use the DP83848. The modifications will be somewhat depending upon the protocols that will be supported.

For example: EtherCAT allows a PHY to either have a Fast Link Down feature(this is internal to the PHY) or have the Controller configured for what is called “Enhanced Link Detection”. This is described in EtherCAT guide. The TLK110 supports the Fast Link Down feature however the DP83848 does not.

What protocols will be supported?
