What is the structure of EnDAT data in PRU0 RAM when using EnDAT firmware?

Hi,

I use IDK am437x with sysbios 6.42.3.35 and sdk 2.1.1.2.

I started using EnDAT driver located at PRU0 unit of PRUICSS0 module based on the motor_control example. I heard from ISDK team that next release of sdk software will enclose the detailed information about this driver. The PRU0 interface is more or less understandable, however one thing is still ambigous - what is the structure of data held in PRU0 RAM? I know that this will be elaborated in details in next release documentation but I need to know the very basics of it. I have heard that one bit is responsible for informing about EnDAT measurement completion but I have not found this bit in adc firmware nor any documentation. Could you please write which address should I check in PRUICSS0 RAM0 to know about endat driver measurement completion to generate the interrupt for Cortex by PRU1?

I apologize for the delay in releasing the update .

The relevant bit is the LSbit of byte @0x54440002.

In host trigger mode, host will set this bit & EnDat firmware will clear upon command completion. In periodic trigger mode, upon periodic event, the EnDat firmware will set this bit (before starting EnDat command) & will clear it upon command completion.

Thanks for the answer. It correspons the instructions in pru_adc_sampling code so it is much more clear now.
