Which DSK is suitable for me?

Hello all,

I'm new here. I'm working on a DSP project. It is full of covariance calculations and optimizations and a lot of matrices operations.

I'm using Matlab for simulating my code and testing it.

However, I want to start a practical test on a real time DSK.

I don't know which one is perfect for my application?

Have you looked at the board manufacturer's (Spectrum Digital) product page for that evaluation kit? I have provided a link below. I have also linked the quick start guide, which should help you through the process of loading code to your board. Both the product page and quick start guide provide references to lots of valuable information for you to use.

Will I need another hardware (an emulator) to start working with the L138/C6748 LCDK?

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answer.
Your suggested kit is excellent especially that I'll not need any another hardware (an emulator) to start working with it.
However, 415 US $ is very high for a student?
Are there any particular prices for students?

Amgad,

Yes, you may need to have an emulator (probably XDS100) to work with LCDK board.
