Where to get latest Linux kernel source code for OMAP3503 processor

Hi,

I am using overo gumstix board which is based on OMAP3503 processor. I am using Linux kernel 2.6.32 on this board since 2010 and I want to upgrade the kernel source on this board.

Can you help me to find out the latest version of kernel for OMAP3503 that was provided by ti? Which git repository contains it?

Hi Hitesh,

According to the software section of OMAP3503 product page:
www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware
Linux kernel 2.6.32 is the latest release but the AM/DM37x product line is compatible with omap35x and you can use its releases which are little bit newer (DVSDK v4.03 with Linux kernel 2.6.37 since DEC 2011) at:
www.ti.com/.../linuxdvsdk-dm37x

Hi,

I can see in there is a board-overo.c board file is present in below linux kernel versions.
linux-3.18.30
linux-4.1.21

Does that mean i can compile these kernel for my gumstix overo board?

I thing ti is also maintains kernel changes under below git repository,
git.kernel.org/.../linux-omap.git

Is it correct? Can i take latest source code from kernel from this git and use for my overo board?

Hitesh,

The linked releases from:
git.kernel.org/.../linux-omap.git
seems suitable for your board and you can use them but they are not TI's releases and not supported by TI.

Hi,

As you mentioned www.ti.com/.../linuxdvsdk-dm37x can be use for gumstix overo.
But what is dowload path / git location for the same?
