Please let me know difference between below two EVM.

and

As per my knowledge eInfochips has produce TCI6630K2L based EVM. Please let me know availability of 66AK2L06 Evaluation Module with eInfochips.

The XEVMK2LX 66AK2L06 Evaluation Module can be ordered from TI Store (below link).

The TCI6630K2L EVM is manufactured by einfo-chips.

Thanks for reply.

Both EVM seems identical. Please confirm both have different SoC as mentions.

As per e2e thread "The TCI6630K2L (66AK2L06) EVM is manufactured by einfo-chips. " both EVM seems identical. As per eInfochips website, They have MFG TCI6630K2L. Can you please confirm again both EVM has different SoC.

Hi Raja,

Thanks for the details.

I have a question regarding the "EVM Image" which is representing "XEVMK2LX - TI Store".

The EVM picture of the "66AK2L06 Evaluation Module" looks same as the eInfochips developed "TCI6630K2L Evaluation Module".

Are both the EVMs are same here? - I understand it is not but want to double check.

If both are different, could please share "66AK2L06 Evaluation Module" details (Manufacturer) to understand it better. I would like to confirm, only the image of TCI6630K2L EVM is used for "66AK2L06 EVM" for representation purpose.

Please clarify.

Hi,

EVM does not have any differences. Although you need to check both device datasheets to identify differences in the devices.

Thanks for the response.
Do you mean both the EVMs use the same K2L SoC (TCI6630K2L) but having 2 different EVM names?
It is understood that TCI6630K2L and 66AK2L06 are different processors but the question is raised if there is a common EVM.

Hi,

As mentioned above both EVMs are same but they have different device/SoCs on it. TCI device will have some accelerators which will not be there in the 66AK version. But that does not change the EVM as it does not change the pinout or any other EVM requirement.

Please let me know if it clarifies the query.
