I encountered this linker error message today after I added some code to my project. Are there RTOS settings I can adjust to expand the memory space allocated for this section is question? Alternatively, what can I trim in my code to make it fit? What goes into this section- DATA_GROUP?

Need a little more info, what version of TI-RTOS are you using? What device are you building for? What toolchain are you using?

Hi Jonathan,

The linker output messages can tell us that SRAM has only 0x51c bytes that are unused, but your DATA_GROUP section size is 0x9a5, which is bigger than the unused size of SRAM.
So U may need to place some codes into a different RAM, which may be external.
Another option is to make your code smaller.
