Omap-L138 without external RAM

Hi TI experts,

Is there any limitation for using Omap-L138's DSP without external RAM (if capacity of internal RAM is enough). As I know, code and initialized data are transferred into RAM by the ROM bootloader.

If you are code is enough with internal RAM, then you can work without external RAM (DDR or SDRAM etc.,)

Dear Titus S.,
I have read that compiler arranges different part of code in different places (i.e. internal and external RAM) for optimization and to avoid linking errors caused by placing excessive code and data in limited internal memory.

I'm sorry for my english, if something wrong.

Dear Artem Khotab,
You need to modify the linker command (*.cmd) file of your project to use the internal memory for all the section of output elf file.
