Hi,

You could work CCS v5 /6 but you need to migrate from ccsv3.3 legacy project to work in CCSv5 /v6 IDE otherwise, it would lead to unexpected errors. By default, the gel file for DM6437 EVM is compatible to ccsv3.3 from the Spectrum digital website and so, you need majority of the steps you need to migrate to CCSv5 are documented in the below e2e post when creating vs importing CCS3.x based BIOS 5.x projects in CCSv5:
