DM365 Power Calculator, does one exist?

Is there a DM365 power calculation tool, perhaps something Excel based, that we can use to more accurately determine the amount of power the device will draw under varying operating conditions. Does one exist? What is the best method to calculate power for the DM365?   I have seen SPRAB68 and it provides a geeneral outline, but we want to accurately design our power supplies to tightly fit our application.

Thanks, Bryan Busacco.

There is actually an excel file included with the SPRAB68 document which does just this, you can get to both the PDF and the ZIP file from here, or directly to the ZIP file (containing the excel file) here.

If this is not quite what you are looking for, please post back.

  • What is the password to the spreadsheet so that I can unlock it?

I would like to change the processor speed, but that cell is locked.

    Thanks,

  • The previous posting got cut off....

The TI dm36xPowerSummary spreadsheet in the zip file sprab68.zip is password protected and prevents certain fields such as processor speed from being edited.

I'm wanting to use the DM365x with a lower clock frequency when I'm in a special power saving mode (no video),  and I want to see the performance.
