Using USB0 in AM335x Starter Kit

Hi All,

I am using am335x sitara starter kit, in this its usb0 port act as a debug(uart0) or usb0 port, currently i am running user applications getting prints from this port(debug uart0 port),now i want to use this port as a peripheral(usb0) but i don't have any idea how to get debug prints as well as running usb0 as a peripheral at a same time.

So Please suggest me how can I use this as a usb0, what changes i required at software side and hardware side..?

Hi,

USB0 must be configured in USB Device mode and can be used at the same time as the Debug port, because they are both routed through an USB Hub on the Starter Kit. The prebuilt Linux SDK binaries should have this configured properly.

Hi Sir,
Currently I am running Linux 3.2 kernel uImage on starter kit.I am able to see debug prints through usb to serial micro AB usb cable. now I want to use USB0 and want to get commands from host pc to run the user app for usb.I am not clear how should i get that because at same time usb micro AB connector gives uart0 prints over console.
will you suggest me how can i do it?
