We are using SPI interface to configure FPGA (Sparten 6 slave serial). Attached is the scheme for the same.
We are using MPU SPI bus for configuring FPGA as well as communicating with SPI interface of other device(FPGA itself after configuration). Below is the connection details for configuration.
SCLK0(MPU) --> CCLK(FPGA)
MOSI(MPU)-->DIN(FPGA).
We want to confirm by configuring SPI pins in MPU can we configure FPGA, as after FPGA configuration we are using these pins in SPI mode only. We will use clock frequency of 2 to 10MHz for FPGA configuration. Please let us know if we need to connect any other pins or need to take care anything else in hardware or firmware for the same. FPGA needs a valid data on the rising edge of the clock for configuration.
