Hello! I'm using OMAPL138 and i have a problem now.I'm develpoing omapl138 with TMDSLCDK138,recently,i want to drive usb camera,but failed.Can you tell me how to drive USB camera? This is the USB camera's link (www.ptgreychina.com/firefly-mv-03mp-color-usb-20-micron-mt9v022) .Thank you very much!

Able to detect your USB camera on LCDK board ?
Have you enabled the V4L support via make menuconfig ?
Able to detect the camera and got "/dev/videoX" ?

i want to drive usb camera,but failed.Can you tell me how to drive USB camera?

What do you want to drive ?
Want to capture the image or stream the video ?

You can use "mplayer" tool to do this.

USB cannot be detected on LCDK boars and when making menuconfig,the board always show 'make: command not found'

Are you doing "make menuconfog" in linux kernel source of OMAPL138 SDK ?

Its not a linux kernel source, you are in linux filesystem.

You can get the linux source code of OMAPL138 LCDK board here.

Hello !

I have executed every steps refer to this paper ( processors.wiki.ti.com/.../OMAP-L138_LCDK_Linux_Software_Developer's_Guide ) . I still have no idea how to drive USB Camera on TMDSLCDK138. I also refer to this ( e2e.ti.com/.../328265 ), but I can't manage to get this interface.

You have enabled as module driver "M", you need to build as inbuilt support "*", use space bar to select "*" then save the configuration and build it the kernel image.
Boot the newly built image and connect the USB camera, see whether console messages reported that you have connected the USB camera like that.
